Green Forest Hemp (GFH) owns our own farms but we partner with farmers in Colorado and neighboring states. We offer these partnership through a co-operative structure, which benefits the farm owners, hemp farmers and GFH. By structuring unique partnerships, we make sure the farmers and land owners can benefit by growing hemp biomass. Over the years, GFH and our partners have built up a relationship with farmers and land owners throughout Colorado.
By working together, we can provide the highest quality organic hemp and the highest quality CBD oil to wholesalers and consumers. In the past, other hemp producers may have paid farmers and land owners modest rental fees. The end result was that the farmers did not participate in the profits of the hemp harvest. Green Forest Hemp structures our deals so that all parties benefit from the relationship.
This co-op structure and fair dealing allows GFH the ability to plant thousands of acres of hemp if we desire to do that. Green Forest Hemp’s philosophy is to grow 100 acres in the best manner and methods versus planting 600 acres and doing an average to poor job. In 2019, we have 160 acres planted in partnership. GFH plans to grow to over 1,000 acres in 2020 with at least 400 of those acres owned by GFH. Our plans for 2021 are to exceed 2,500 acres of hemp planted.
The majority of these farms will be in Colorado. Green Forest Hemp is also looking at neighboring states where land prices may be more favorable. If you are a farmer or land owner in Colorado or neighboring states looking to expand into the hemp and CBD oil market, please contact us. GFH may be able to help your farm.
